Our eggs are collected from the coop and nests twice daily and stored in baskets or pans in a temperature-controlled environment before washing.
All collected eggs are washed once weekly according to the Cottage Food Act standards and are stored in a refrigerated rack system or in clean single use cartons. We are also licensed by the state of Colorado Agriculture Department.
Most of our eggs are sold to a farm to table restaurant in Boulder,Co. However, we do leave a few cartons out for our community to come pick up and enjoy for themselves!
Eggs for community sale can be found in our self-service fridge at the end of our driveway. We usually put 10-12 packs in there per week, but they sell quickly - always check the fridge before you pay!
Duck eggs are processed in the same way as our chicken eggs, they can also be found out in the self-service stand! Always check first, you can also call or text us for availability!
